Legacy

Eddie talks a lot about legacy.

How WILL you be remembered? How do you WANT to be remembered?

Will you be missed when you’re gone?

A life that is all about taking and hoarding is not a life well lived. We are called to be givers.

God created us with uniqueness and with purpose.

The dreams in our hearts are there because He placed them there. He wants us to be all that He created us to be.

When we refuse to use the gifts and abilities God has given us, we suffer as well as others. Our gifts are meant to be used for the good of the kingdom. We are created to produce MUCH fruit.

It’s not for us.

It’s not about us.

It’s all about bringing God’s kingdom to earth.

We have a friend that always says, “do not grow weary in well doing.” But the truth is, we do grow weary sometimes. I’ve found that when I do, I find another way or place to serve.

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”
