Marriage is…

Marriage is beautiful, glorious, it’s a gift. But, it’s hard. How could it not be? Two selfish sinners are put under one roof told to die to self and serve one another and then a few more little selfish sinners are added and we think it’s going to be easy? 🧐

It never gets easy. And if we try to do it alone in our own strength according to our own way, it will be even harder.

It takes two people sold out to God’s way. There will still be problems. We will still fight selfishness and for our own way. But, we are building on a firm foundation.

We would both say that starting the day reading God’s Word and praying is a must for us. We would never boast in our own power. It has been and will always be Christ in us.
