The Long Game

So I have always been ANTI DIET!! I do not believe that if something is not lifestyle, lifelong, sustainable, it will work for the long game. So I’m not one of those who’ve tried all these diets! However, I’ve watched so many people bounce around between them. If it works for you, ok. You’re the rare one.
In our house it has forever been, eat clean, eat well, cut the sugar and whatever else disrupts your system. And if you want the cheeseburger or the cheesecake, eat them. Just don’t eat them every day!!
And since in recent years it has become evident that there is NO WAY to get all that our body needs from food, we supplement. And we LOVE our supplements!!
This graphic on young girls totally scares me. I raised 2. It was always in the forefront of my mind the way we talked about our bodies, our way of eating, the way God created us. Just beware, what you say and how you live in front of them has lasting effects. Love yourself well and they will too.
And DO NOT think that this is easy for me!! You have no idea what goes on in my head and how intentional I have to be every single day!
